Beef-A-Roo Field

Home Field Advantage
Although rarely seen outside of home games, Beef-A-Roo field was the home for NMU Baseball for five years. Before 1999, the team was bounced around from field to field in Marquette County every year. Finally having a solid home that could be used during the harsh spring months for this rag-tag group helped forge the friendship and team work needed to win championships in their two final years.

Although not quite NCAA regulation baseball size, the 'Cats were able to petition to allow the Superior Dome to be used for Baseball. The odd size shape, and the ground rule double for any ball hit into right field, was just enough to keep even the strongest of opposing teams in check.
